This week at Young At Heart ULO our sessions didn’t quite go to plan in Stockton and Billingham. In Stockton, we welcomed 5 new members to our group so it was important to spend some time getting to know the new members. In Billingham, we had a change of venue due to the building work taking place in the cafe, so our group met at the Bowling Club which is also side John Whitehead Park.
The plan had been to make a start on the clay poppies for our Unremembered project instead, we had a reminiscence and life history-themed session talking and documenting the different milestones and key events in our lives. We also did this at the Thornaby group.
Next week we will be playing Bingo and other table-top games.
