This week was all about physical exercise as I am a firm believer that what is good for the body is good for the brain!
On Monday morning, the Stockton group took part in the seated exercise programme which lasts approximately 30 minutes and is a whole body, seated workout. The majority of the group actively participated to the best of their abilities while some members needed a little more coaxing and cajoling.
The Billingham group and Thornaby group both participated in the parachute game; using the parachute, bean bags and beach ball to engage with the group and promote the improved concentration required to keep the additions on the parachute.
Next week we will be doing some form of life story/life history work.
